Cheslyn Gardens Engagement Session

Patsy and Joe are having an Italian wedding at Sopwell House in Watford. They decided to book an engagement session to get an image to use for a signing board at their wedding. Engagement pictures also work really well for save the dates, invitations and guest books. As they are based in Watford, we decided to do the session at a local park called Cheslyn Gardens.
It was a chilly November day but the park was still really colourful at this time of year. The shoot took place just before sunset…my favourite time of the day to work. This kind of light adds a lovely warm glow to the images and isn’t too harsh. The large wooden doors created a perfect backdrop and the surrounding ivy framed the couple beautifully.
Patsy and Joe were so comfortable in front of the camera and I’m really looking forward to photographing their wedding in August.
