Hedsor House Wedding – Leah and Ben

HEDSOR HOUSE WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER

Leah and Ben’s wedding took place on a beautiful spring day in March at Hedsor House, a magnificent Georgian style manor house set in the Buckinghamshire countryside. Leah got ready with her mum, bridesmaids and gorgeous flower girl, Bella, in Hedsor House’s luxurious bridal suite…perfect for photographs!

GETTING MARRIED AT HEDSOR HOUSE

The ceremony took place in the main hall adorned with pretty floral arrangements. A domed skylight in the centre of the ceiling emitted beautiful, soft natural light throughout the room and Leah looked absolutely stunning as she walked down the aisle in her fitted lace gown. The drinks reception followed and, due to the mild weather, took place in the venue’s perfectly manicured gardens. I decided to make the most of the big, Georgian windows for the group pictures and the surrounding landscape provided the perfect backdrop for some couple pictures.

Leah and Ben’s love of music was cleverly reflected in the reception decor. The tables were named after their favourite gigs and they made personalised vinyl records for guests to sign. The favours were in keeping with their lilac colour scheme and were labelled with Alice in Wonderland style ‘Eat Me’ and ‘Drink Me’ stickers The father of the bride, groom and best men read some funny and heartfelt speeches that were met with lots of laughter and applause.

The couple preceded to cut the cake and guests congregated in the main hall to watch the their first dance. The evening continued with lots of great music, some awesome dance moves and his and hers cocktails (Espresso Martini’s and Mojito’s!).
