The Flower Suite
This contemporary wedding venue is situated in the heart of the city near Centre MK. It opened in late 2018 to replace the registry office at Bracknell House in Bletchley. The Flower Suite provides a modern space for couples looking to tie the knot in Milton Keynes and it accommodates up to 80 guests. There’s also a private garden at the back of the building which can be used for group and couple photos after the ceremony.
Getting Married at a Buckinghamshire Registry Office
Amy and Machile celebrated their wedding over two wonderful days. The first day took place at The Old Beams in Shenley Lodge with lots of guests and a celebrant conducting a personal ceremony for the couple. The following day, a few close friends and family joined Amy and Machile to witness the legal ceremony at Milton Keynes Registry Office. Guests began to arrive and the groom stood with his best man nervously awaiting the bride. Machile was beaming as he watched his beautiful fiance walk down the aisle with her dad. A beautiful ceremony followed before we went outside to get some photos of the couple on their big day.
Centre MK Wedding Photos
Unfortunately, despite having a sunny autumn day on the Saturday, the good weather didn’t last all weekend. Grey skies were looming before the ceremony and, as the couple made their way outside, the rain started but the newlyweds didn’t let this affect their day. They were determined to get some photos outside so they grabbed an umbrella and braved the bad weather…and I’m so pleased they did!
Registry Office Gardens
The landscaped gardens created a beautiful green backdrop for me to work with despite the rubbish weather. There was also a gazebo that sheltered them from the rain and, from a photographic point of view, was a great device for framing the couple. I used the large trees at the back of the building to add depth to some of the couple portraits and I was really happy with the results.
