BRIDAL PREPARATIONS AT WOTTON HOUSE
Preparations began at a picturesque 17th century house in the heart of Surrey called Wotton House wedding venue. Despite Megan’s concerns about the weather, it was a beautiful Spring day so the ceremony could take place outside. Megan got ready with her bridesmaids in one of Wotton House’s beautiful suites. She wore a stunning Diane Legrand dress with an embellished beaded top and tuille skirt. A fabulous pair of white Ted Baker heels and a spritz of Jo Malone and she was ready to go! The girls had pretty foliage bouquets with pink rose accents which complimented the floral decorations in their hair.
WEDDING CEREMONY
The ceremony took place at the Roman Temple which was elegantly decorated with ribbon bunting and large white balloons. It was an emotional moment as Megan walked down the aisle to see her husband to be. The bridesmaids wore blue and pink separates with embellished tops that matched the boys pale blue suits beautifully.
Wotton House has so many amazing spots for photos – we really were spoilt for choice! We went to the colourful Italian Gardens and picturesque river before everyone was seated for the wedding breakfast.
The reception room looked amazing! The pillars were decorated with fairy lights and eucalyptus and big, colourful balloons along the top table added a modern twist. After the wedding breakfast, guests made their way to the dance floor for a few short toasts before the couple had their first dance as husband and wife. Once the sun had set, we sneaked outside to get some amazing nighttime portraits by the Roman Temple.
Megan and Andy, I’m so pleased you asked me to photograph your big day, it was absolutely perfect! If you’re having a Wotton House wedding and are looking for a photographer, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
